Salsa is a spicy tomato-based sauce that is commonly consumed in Mexico and other Central American countries. Ingredients: 2 tomatoes 1 bell pepper 1 onion 1 red chili juice from 1/2 lemon 1/2 tsp sugar 1/4 tsp salt pinch of salt How to make Mexican salsa sauce: Wash the tomatoes and cut them into small cubes and grind them in a coarse blender. Peel the onion and finely chop. Cut the peppers and red chillies into small pieces. Add in succession to the saucepan: onions, bell peppers and red chillies. Roast briefly until wilted. Then, add the lemon juice, tomatoes and sugar. Cook on low heat for a while. 60 minutes, stirring occasionally. Add a pinch of salt. Salsa sauce can be used as an ingredient for Tex Mex pizza or Meat Casserole or just as a dip.
